Uh... this this is all right. Overall very basic. The premise has been done before, although the exact specifics are new. The controls seem a little slidey. I feel like there's not enough time spent with the "stack on top of each other" mechanic, although that could just be because I gave up when level 6 got frustrating. This does have potential, though. If you were to add some other interesting mechanics, it'd do more to catch my eye.

This is... not made for the computer mouse. Because my pointer is smaller than a finger would be in relation to the screen of a phone, I sometimes miss the inner circles and get counted as wrong, even though I knew the pattern. I could see it as being a pretty awesome game on mobile, though. Also, your "get 2500 points in Arcade" medal is named wrong, you accidentally called it a second "Master of Traditional."

MonoFlauta responds:

It was planned for mobile so I understand what you say. Sadly, if we make the colliders even bigger it will still make a mess because it would happen that you can pick by error one option you didn't want. Anyway, I will try to adjust them a bit bigger so it doesn't feel so bad.
Regarding the medal name, thanks a lot for telling me! It should be fixed as soon as Newgrounds updates it :)

Um... this game is kind of overwhelming and surreal. You should probably have music that is quieter and has fewer layers to it, or at least starts simple and gets more complicated. Or at least, the music would be kinda if not for the narrator's audio and the stock "hooray" sound effect playing on top of it. The narrator's audio is really hard to hear and understand, I suggest you just make it into text that appears in the background instead of audio. And I'd like it if you replaced that "hooray" sound effect with something that actually fit with the theme. The graphics are cool, though, and so is the premise. This game has some potential, I just feel like there were a few oversights that prevent a lot of people from playing this.

This is like B-Cubed from Coolmath-games.com except hugely, hugely updated. I love it. The difficulty curve is a little much for me, hence why I don't have much to say (because I'm stuck on level 8), but otherwise it's really great.

This game could use just a tad more work. On top of others' critiques, perhaps you could make the numbers generic, like energy instead of money, because it seems to fit more with the design. Otherwise, I could totally see this on Coolmath-games.com.

I really like this. The controls are a bit unwieldy, the art style is a bit flat, and I wish that the three-lives devices were real checkpoints so that you could hit restart and spawn back there. But the premise is really cool (it's science fantasy, my favorite genre!) This has tons of potential. Like the music too, almost enough that I don't mind the fact that it still plays when the game pauses. Also, the fire icon is derpy, probably fix that.

Thanks for the feedback!

I get that it's supposed to be hard, but this feels pretty restricting. I agree wholeheartedly with the downsides FuturecopLGF states in their review. Another thing - in the area where there are four paths (up, down, left and right) and there's an enemy on the left path, I can't get back up from the downwards path. This may have been an oversight.

I like the concept, but I have the following criticisms:
- The controls trip me up on a regular basis. I keep pressing space thinking I can use it to jump, but it just restarts the game, and otherwise, the X key doesn't feel intuitive to use. I'd prefer something like the F key.
- The sound effects are annoying, even if I turn down the volume.
This has potential, however, and you could make it work if you tweaked these things.

StuffedWombat responds:

thanks for that thought out feedback!

You can use space to instantly reset, should have added that to the turorial :D

This game has gotten much better since the original Handulum. I really like the new color scheme and structure of the levels, but it also hasn't lost its original charm. Level 2 of "Up" is a little hard to master, though, so that seems like a bit much of a difficulty curve. Otherwise, very much improved.

Edit 4/8/22: I came back, didn't give up, and got all the way to the second level of Weird! And whoOOOOOOOOOOAAAAa what is going on? I love the different ways you explore the concept of a basic "don't touch the walls" game, but with a pendulum! This just keeps getting better!

I love this game a lot! It's definitely one of my favorites, for a lot of reasons. For instance, there's noticeable differences between this and Pokemon, notably its side-scrolling and the monsters' special abilities. I also love seeing how much damage an attack will do, as it allows me to plan out a strategy. Figuring out how things work in combat makes me really proud of myself, as does the nice difficulty curve. My only criticisms so far have been that I don't like having my character's appearance and gender chosen for me, and that I'd like a more detailed explanation of what determines star ratings, as I have a soft spot for eggs. Finally, the Unity crashed the second time I fought the Steam Golem, after I came back with my monsters leveled up. Those are things that can be easily fixed, though. I can't wait for the full game, but please update this demo in the process! The suspense is killing me!
