Is this what @Stepford's thread about what your attacks would be as a fighting game character was about?

Really fun so far! I can't test the multiplayer function because I don't have anyone to do it with irl (and it'd crowd up my keyboard anyway), but I love the survival mode and the creative abilities! The AIs are tough to go up against, but enjoyable if you pick a character with the right balance for your skill level. Favorite to play as right now is Stepford, but I want to try the others as well - especially the ones who keep beating my ass on a consistent basis. The graphics are adorable, the music is fun, and the premise is hilarious on top of that! Overall, it's a good time!

I'm highly confused, but the programming and art are solid.

This game has a whole lot of heart put into it - it's got basically the same premise as Tiny Fishing on Coolmath, but all these extra fun bits like the fish chasing you, the music and the fish chasing sound effects that blend perfectly into it, and the achievements you get for specific things (plus the fact that there's an actual end goal) improve a ton upon that concept!

Perhaps it might be better to include something more to measure your progress overall, beyond the upgrades, medals, and distance? Maybe a fraction or percentage of how far you've gotten over the total distance (which I see is 1000)? I think that if there's a clearer indication of progress, there'll be more motivation to continue dodging those vicious attack fish.

Edit: Also, please make this mobile compatible! I really want to play it on my phone too!

Never heard of Tiny Fishing. I'll have to check it out!

You're right that there's no way to know where the end is. There's a hint in one of the medals (halfway there medal awarded at 500m depth) and the scenery changes as you get deeper, but there's no "you're this close to the end" indicator

The concept works fine and visual language is easy to understand, but the difficulty curve feels a bit irregular. I think the levels that basically have a time limit for you to think right and react, or else the person is going to slam right into an obstacle, should be later, especially if this is targeted to younger audiences. Speaking of, the dark red particles in the explosion could look like blood at first glance.

I also am not sure how to feel about the models of the people, but that's just a weird personal nitpick.

Otherwise, happy to see another Nannings game!

The foundation is pretty solid, as usual. It kinda strikes me as a mobile game for younger audiences, what with the use of the emoji trend and the addition of a full solution to every level with an ad in between, but I'm not sure if the puzzles work for that audience. I had to stop at Level 19 when I tried the hint and couldn't remember all of it, winding up stuck again. Perhaps a better way to do it is to walk the player through each step in some way?

I love the graphics - they're not too busy even for a game made of emojis - and the quirky music! I remember you saying you make it all yourself - did you get a guitar?

This game isn't very forgiving early on. From what it looks like, fake characters will make the party points decrease regardless of how many correct guests are in the room - and this makes it really hard to recover from mistakes. The tiny differences in the real vs fake characters, combined with different angles and the simple pixel art style, make it hard to know who's a correct guest.

Regardless, the concept, style, and 2.5D mechanics are fun, and I'd love to see where this goes from here!

Glitch report: After I talked with Darnell while he was going through the door, and lost afterwards, the new game shows his quote in the bottom of the screen with "NAME" for the character's name.

What is the inside joke I'm missing out on?

Love the overall look and feel! It is a little basic, with a number of fun options. I wish you had something coded in to change how some of the objects behaved when there's another one on top that should restrict it (like the jacket on top of the NG shirt). I've seen other games do that.

However, I know this isn't your main thing at all, so those are just random thoughts that you don't have to act on.

This pixel artwork is incredible, and I love the interface! I gotta show this to some people!
