That thing would be really fun to play with in a physics based simulator. Like, you can take it apart, assemble the pieces in a different configuration, and then play it. That'd be great! The rendering is cool too - looks just like plastic.

plastic is the easiest material to render convincingly in 3d - hence toy story!

Excellent and fun little cartoon drawing of the Ghostbusters and the Ecto-1! You use the black and white drawing style so well - that's honestly a skill that impresses me, since it's more than just drawing a sketch, it also requires a knowledge of how to use negative space. Nice work!

I feel like the background objects are a little bit large compared to her (granted, I don't know the full context). I also recommend you work a bit on drawing birch trees like that. But otherwise, really nice work! Hope your boyfriend liked it :)

Dear God, why was my first thought "it looks like a stand"?

I absolutely love that design! It'd be so cool to see it in 3D. And I love the way you executed the shading and lighting. Looks like the type of cool design you'd find in a Pixar movie (like a Big Hero 6 type of thing). Take that as a compliment - you're on par with the professionals.
