Lol, that Mug girl is how I feel hanging out with other girls (i.e. girls with better fashion sense than me).

These are all really cute and creative, I love how the fruits are incorporated in as the buns and the Mug mascot is a pet, hehe.

ConnorGrail responds:

Sounds like you were the perfect target audience for this one, Im glad you appreciated the little details!

Really like the effects and all. Nice art style as well, realistic art in pixel art always baffles me even if it’s sketch-like.

I see we both worked on Forest Shack?

Ickicky responds:

Thank you, I enjoy drawing regular busts in Pixel art from time to time.

We did work on Forest Shack. I did some writing and editing for the game.

The only thing I have criticism about is how her frog blends into her hair. It might be intentional, but I’m not sure it fits in a pic like this where both are supposed to be visible. (Cute forg by the way :3)

Overall, yep, this is really adorable.

Bleak-Creep responds:

Yeah, that's fair. He DOES pretend to be her little hair bun sometimes, but he's just supposed to be hitching a ride for now. :)

Still got the classic Viscera style!

Wonder what it’d look like redrawn from the ground up.

slugjuicedotcom responds:

probably not much different HAHA. my style's developed a lot but its also vv similar.. mostly i'd probably change how i drew the body

I love the lighting and the huge shadow. Looks awesome, like a poster for a movie.

SketchMeNot responds:

Aww thank you so much! Glad you like how it turned out! It was super fun experimenting with colors and lighting in this piece hehe 😋✨

That’s awesome. I love the colors… I think I say that a lot about your art.

BellvonArtsy responds:

And it means a lot to me every time!
Coloring is my favorite part of the job :'>

You got this. I love your unique visual language here!

Bleak-Creep responds:

Thank you! You know I love my shapes :)

Nice work! Makes me nostalgic (anemoic?) for the days when monster comics were still a mainstream occurrence.

PerKGrok responds:

The heyday of horror comics in America I would say was in the 40' to mid 50's.
And then came Fredric Wertham with the book
'Seduction of the Innocent: The Influence of Comic Books on Today's Youth'
which lead up to the comic book code and horror comics was never the same in America.
Now there was still horror comics in other countries, Italy and Japan comes to mind.

Nice redesigns! Very much like the way they look and added details.

KediKatzen responds:

Thank you ^^ Getting ready to make the actual pages now since I'm almost totally done with the thumbnails.

I can see this animated in my mind, complete with echoing footstep sounds.

Amazing shot. Like, camera distance and lighting and stuff.

SketchMeNot responds:

Ahhh! Thank you so much! Glad you like it and that the piece feels that immersive! 🤩✨ Your thoughtful comments really mean a lot. Thank you so much! 😊✨
