Loving this guy’s design! You carried the fire and furnace elements into it very well.

I like the Zoom pun and the designs of the Zoorbs. Her mom’s design is also really spooky with the black and green thing. I can’t quite get a reading on her - she seems either like she’s hard to please, or like she’s secretly always proud of her daughter. Either way the dynamic is interesting and fun. How’d you do the reflections and the effects on the orbs?
thank you very much! the reflections are separate renders i put together in the blender video editor.
Look at him, he’s so tubular. (Sudden mental image of Grape in a tube) That is not what I meant.
I agree with @PurpleHatOfAwesome - the color contrast here is very dynamic. Really nice lighting overall and I like the way you did the gleam effect.
Ergh, I get that way about receiving attention too. Not quite to the ‘I’m trash’ point anymore, but I just feel really awkward whenever I post something and it for whatever reason doesn’t have chemistry with the people in whatever group I’m in or site I’m on. My answer to that is that just because it doesn’t click with whoever happens to be on at the time doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be making and posting what you love. It takes confidence to stop using other people as your frame of reference, but that confidence can be built.
Well-drawn comic as usual. You seem to be back into the pattern of vent comics again, are you doing okay?
I like how you noticed the pattern of vent comics haha. Yeah, not doing awesome, but such is life!
Love this mimic design and how it switches between the eyes and the teeth!
thank you ! i thought that was a fun way of doing it :)
No need to apologize for a hiatus. Glad to see you back nonetheless, and man this is cool! The colors are so pretty!
I so happy when see like this comments )))
Thank you , Cass :)
I’m not the biggest fan of getting languagesplained in general. It’s just petty to act smug over language mistakes. If this makes you feel better, from my experience, those kinds of people are usually just insecure and looking for reasons to be right. Some might also be on the autistic spectrum - I know that reading the implied meanings can be more of a struggle for us, so it would make sense that some individuals might develop a hatred of people speaking in any way that they don’t understand. I have a feeling that this is especially true for when someone in an informal context gets mad that you’re using a word in a colloquial or casual sense that can be understood by most people, rather than as what it means literally. If they’re not just fishing for an argument, then it’s probably the case that they struggle to understand anything that isn’t literal. (Not a justification by any means, just a potential cause.)
Only nitpick on the art itself is it took me a bit to understand what the comic meant. This is the first time it’s been that way, though. Perhaps a bit more setup would’ve helped? Otherwise, nice work.
The particle effect is cool here! Pasu seems to be undergoing a magical girl transformation or evolution or something. Wondering what the end result would look like.
