I happened to look at the Wikipedia page of Cruelty Squad and it seems really weird, but very interesting as well. Nice job with the blood on the various surfaces and the refractions through the glass. You also did a good job with the Pop figures - they look a little dead inside, but that works for the artwork, haha.

This looks kinda surreal - which I’d say works for a game with a premise like what it seems to be here. I like the dithering effects that you use for things fading into the background.

Woo, plant monsters! That’s really cool! I like how you based some of them off other critters, like crabs and snakes and stuff, but then added a whole lot of original stuff to the design beyond that.

This could be a game character. I love the design and the concept! And the sparkly magic stuff coming out of its head, that’s a nice touch.

Man, I don't know anything about Brawlhalla really, but I absolutely love the dynamic use of perspective, pose, and the magic flowing through the picture! Great realism as always.

[First 3D character in Blender]

Very cute! Modeling looks very clean, almost a claymation-y vibe. You did a pretty good job translating the design into 3D!

How the heck did you pull this off? I've seen interesting character designs in Blender, but this is on another level entirely. Love the candle-based design and the colors!

First of all I appreciate the compliment,thank you it's stuff like this that keeps me going.

Well it started as a regular drawing that I separated to 3 parts which I put on a plane mesh with the height and width that matches the image resolution. And I seperated them and moved them around a bit.

The flame was a tear shaped mask that has a procedural fire effect that I looped, I also used the same mask on the eyes and just squished the mesh for the blinking effect.

I had problem with the alpha of the image made the outline look blocky(I have to use a low resolution on my drawings otherwisemy phone crashes) I might look into using an AI resolution upscaler for smoothing thing out if I decide to do this more in the future.

I can tell the frame rate is lower than the other one, and once again there's that small jerkiness where the animation loops (I see it most in the tail), but it looks pretty smooth otherwise!

Yeah, I was going with 6fps, I might take the time to make something else for a stream border instead. It was a learning experience, but I don't know if this is quite it for a border, y'know??
