The one thing I'd say is that it's pretty loud and feels like a wall of sound, but compositionally you've got all the right ingredients for a melancholy game over theme!

Got here from Pixel Mania, and this works so well for the "almost too happy" environment that it's presented in. I also love all the sections that I never got to hear in game, though!

[Cave In]

Found this through Pixel Mania and honestly, this is the track that makes the game. It carries the emotions of a forgotten place and the plight of someone who's all alone there, which goes well with both your intended theme of someone stuck in a cave and Pixel Mania's abandoned RPG world. I think it's the chordal structure and the melody that makes it feel that way. Overall, favorite thing, made me feel things.

[Aphyllix - 8-Bit Dungeon]

Not a lot of direction in this from a song structure standpoint, but I reckon you've done a lot more since this, haha. I like the gritty instruments, though!

This song made me go somewhere mentally for a while. I like everything about it.

[Death by lasers]

I like the overall gritty sound and the cuts to piano and glockenspiel(?). Would love to see you make more boss battle type music - I’ve been shopping around for someone to bring onboard with a project I have planned.

[Time Attack (Trigonometry Dash OST)]

I love the mixing of clock-like percussion into the intro, that goes well with the theme!

I love this style and the sound effects put on top. Feels very surreal.

[Walk Down the Bits]

Good music to take a walk through an 8-bit game. (I'm sorry, with the name, that was all I could picture while listening.)

Definitely uses the chiptune elements to the fullest!

The effects and choice of instruments really carry this so well!

Really hope you get to do a soundtrack for an 8-bit horror game of some kind one day! (honestly I could be the developer to do that, got some ideas brewing around for if I get good enough at code)
