That thing would be really fun to play with in a physics based simulator. Like, you can take it apart, assemble the pieces in a different configuration, and then play it. That'd be great! The rendering is cool too - looks just like plastic.

pInkmoth responds:

thank you ! that does sound fun.

plastic is the easiest material to render convincingly in 3d - hence toy story!

I feel like the background objects are a little bit large compared to her (granted, I don't know the full context). I also recommend you work a bit on drawing birch trees like that. But otherwise, really nice work! Hope your boyfriend liked it :)

LapisTheWolf responds:

tysm! He did!! :))

I looked it up on the Doom wiki. Interesting, it looks like in some pictures the demon is purple and in some it's not. Do you like the purple color scheme better? I like the use of green lighting with all those other bright colors, it makes it look a little Halloweeny.

BoJustBo responds:

Yeah in some it's real muted but I chalk that up to the color grading in D2016 making everything look kind of orange. And in the concept art it's deep purple and yellow, yuck. I much prefer the colorful look, which I of course turned up to 11 here :)

Fun little comic! It took my eyes a few to figure out the form of the Silver Heron in the first panel - I think the shadows confused my brain a bit - but now I see what's going on. Nice one!

pInkmoth responds:

thank you !!

What a unique concept and design! I imagine this'd be even a little bit freaky if he were to just come out of nowhere all of a sudden, or if converted to a realistic art style. I love the execution of it as well, the ice effects are so cool! Really nice work!

jouste responds:

hey thanks! ice is always tricky so I appreciate you noticing it.

*highfives

Very nicely done! I love how you drew her in your style - really nice choice of color scheme and lighting effects - and the funny background with all the fanboys makes it even better.

HugoTendaz responds:

Thank you. I love details in the back like that, glad you like those too.

I love this drawing! You drew both of them so well! I do have a couple tiny nitpicks about Jessica's left hand and mouth looking a bit strange, but otherwise, really nice job!

Edit: Ooh, yep, you fixed both of those things! Nice work!

Davestoons responds:

I actually redrew her a little bit ago https://twitter.com/CoolioDavid/status/1324763846880468993?s=20 but thanks so much!

Almost looks like a live-action Jessica Rabbit, actually! Really well done! You have such a great grasp of the classic comic-book art style that you're using there!

Edit: Ah, okay! Cool!

Blackmoonrose13 responds:

uh its actually a collab, I colored this, I was at time of making this just a colorist.

Ah, I see you've been working on drawing those cherries! Nice work, love this one!

clarigaricus responds:

yes, for a while, finally they are done

Wow, what an excellent job with the lighting and shading, and the sparkle effects! Any tips on achieving sparkly effects for drawings? I need those tips for some of the things I'm working on :3

themaskedmonocle responds:

thank yous! i use photoshop, and you can get brushes that do the sparkles. im not sure if theyd work with what you have.
