Dude, I can relate to this so much. For me the thing that helped was to just care less about how much attention I get and approach my work with "I'm drawing and posting what I want, and the people who like it are the people who like what I do and who I am." I definitely still struggle with this a bit, though.

And this comic is great too!

I've already drawn the hell knight and the pinky from Doom 64, although those are both closer to their original designs. I'll be drawing the Pain Elemental sometime in the future and man, now that's a ways away from the original look to say the least.

This is adorable! I love the warm color scheme you used! It's a little hard to discern the bumpiness of the avocados but I feel like that'd be pretty hard to do with pixel art.

I'll stop pestering you about the backgrounds and stuff, but that is an absolutely adorable rendition of the Annoying Dog and I love it.

Looks pretty good overall! I just (as usual) wish the edges of stuff in the background were more defined. It's a little hard to see them properly, especially with the white shiny effects.
