Aww! So if he’s like a firefighter dog, does that mean he’ll put out the fire magic if something accidentally gets lit on fire that the witch didn’t mean to set on fire? If so: Good boy, very good boy.

This looks like it could come out of a cartoon on TV. Very clean and solid design. I like the way you did the fire, too.

ZeTrystan responds:

Sadly, I'm pretty sure this dog does the... opposite. :')

Dawwwwww :3

I love the little baby birbs hangin’ around the bigger birb. The colors are really pleasing, too. The line art is really smooth. Great work!

ZeTrystan responds:

Thanks! Nothing better than a fat bird and lil birds around to appease everyone haha.

That is adorable! I don’t know exactly how, but you made it adorable without it even having a face! This design is amazing and looks really professional, like it could come from an MMORPG or something! The shading as well, especially on the gems, is really well done! Great job!

ZeTrystan responds:

Hahaha, well thanks, it's a very nice thing to say!
Making things adorable is my only purpose, happy I managed to do it! :)

Yeah, I don’t completely understand what counts as “some” or “lots” either. I’m thinking of PMing Tom Fulp about it, since he’s the authority here.

But yeah, I love this work! It’s kind of got an interesting contrast, between the creepy/more Biblically accurate design of the angel and the cartoon style. Remember how I said your patron requests should be in an RPG? This’d be a late-game boss in said RPG. Haha! Also, I just noticed that the halo casts a shadow. That is cool.

These characters should totally all be in an RPG together. That’d be so cool. Did you design them or are they your patrons’ OCs? Regardless, awesome designs (forward my compliments to the designers), and awesome execution as well! I like the acid/poison-y demon girl the best, her design is really unique :)

Really nice piece! As FuzzyAnimalGames pointed out, you really made good use of the space above the character (called “headroom” in film analysis). It makes him seem small and vulnerable, which is what is often implied when you have a lot of headroom in a shot from a movie! The shading is well done as well. I’d say the character doesn’t stand out from the background enough, but actually it really works given the vibe you’re trying to pull off. Great work! (And are those scars on his wrists, or is that just shading for arm hair? I feel concerned for this guy.)

Ioruko responds:

Thank you! I didn't know it was called that, good to know.

Ooooooh, beautiful galaxy creature! (I'm a sucker for space.) I love the effects on this and the glowy eyes! I can almost see it moving! Awesome job!

Oroshibu responds:

Thank you ! :D

You draw so well! Your line work is so clean, oh my God! Really great job with the hair.

Aww! She's adorable! This makes me think of when I took ballet classes as a kid :)

Very well-done art, great attention to proportions and shading. I also like the way you drew the tutu!

That looks kinda retro, actually, from a stylistic standpoint! Like a title screen or box art from an 80s or 90s video game! It's really cool! It makes me want to play the game! Great execution as well. Overall, awesome job!
