I love what you did with the dynamic pose and the background! This almost looks like it could be part of an intro animation before fighting a boss in an RPG.

Your trippy cartoon aesthetic goes well with this character! I like the even glowier creepy eyes. They intimidate me even more than how they look in the game.

Question, how do you do these pixel art drawings? Do you ever plan them out by sketching on paper first, or do you just charge right in with the pixel art program? I'm thinking of attempting pixel art stuff again because of you and I need tips :3
