I love the spooky atmosphere of this picture! You did a nice job with the fur on the coat, as well as the eyes, smoke effects, and stars. Maybe look at skeleton hand reference images to see how they work, but that's just a tiny nitpick.

Thinking about the title, I wouldn't doubt it if iD Software named the Pain Elemental with kind of a joking nod toward traditional concepts of elemental beings, since pain isn't usually thought of as an element. The original guys from iD were a bunch of goofballs at times; they would totally put humor like that into their game.

Excellent pixel art again - I love the choice of the white lighting, it really gives contrast to the dark colors of the monster and thereby makes the picture more dynamic. The flames of the Lost Soul add to the excitement!

Oh sweet Jesus, that's terrifying. Really nicely done, I love how you drew all of it, including the subtle blood effects.

Dang, I like this one! Looks like it could be the background for a retro sci-fi movie poster. (I probably thought of that because I watched the original Tron movie two days ago, haha!) I really love the colors, and you do the space effect so well!
