Wow! Nice job with the FNF style and animations here!

Wow, I love this design. The shades of purple and gray used here are really nice. Outfit is cool too!

Man, I don't know anything about Brawlhalla really, but I absolutely love the dynamic use of perspective, pose, and the magic flowing through the picture! Great realism as always.

ArtDeepMind responds:

You always give really well constructed feedback and I appreciate it. Thank you very much :)

Very cute! Modeling looks very clean, almost a claymation-y vibe. You did a pretty good job translating the design into 3D!

How the heck did you pull this off? I've seen interesting character designs in Blender, but this is on another level entirely. Love the candle-based design and the colors!

Primolump responds:

First of all I appreciate the compliment, thank you it's stuff like this that keeps me going.

Well it started as a regular drawing that I separated to 3 parts which I put on a plane mesh with the height and width that matches the image resolution. And I seperated them and moved them around a bit.

The flame was a tear shaped mask that has a procedural fire effect that I looped, I also used the same mask on the eyes and just squished the mesh for the blinking effect.

I had problem with the alpha of the image made the outline look blocky(I have to use a low resolution on my drawings otherwisemy phone crashes) I might look into using an AI resolution upscaler for smoothing thing out if I decide to do this more in the future.

I can tell the frame rate is lower than the other one, and once again there's that small jerkiness where the animation loops (I see it most in the tail), but it looks pretty smooth otherwise!

KediKatzen responds:

Yeah, I was going with 6fps, I might take the time to make something else for a stream border instead. It was a learning experience, but I don't know if this is quite it for a border, y'know??

It seems a little bit jerky - perhaps I'm seeing the part where the animation loops, and it's not quite smooth at that point? Otherwise, it looks pretty smooth, and the run really conveys her character well (at least from what I've seen in the other art).

I think you and a good friend of mine, @TheMaskedMonocle, would get along pretty well. You could talk about animating and each other's character designs and story concepts!

KediKatzen responds:

Yeah, definitely jerky in a lot of places, I'm trying to practice to get better about it but seeing the finished version has some very clear signs of where improvement is needed.

I'll definitely give your friend a follow, their art is pretty awesome!!

Absolutely love this, it looks like a screenshot from a cartoon, with all the effects in the background. So much fun!

KediKatzen responds:

Thank you ^^

This. This needs a fully-fledged animated series. Dark historical fantasy cartoons haven't been done enough, or at least not that I know of. It'd be cool. Love the ref and the designs!

KediKatzen responds:

I do love historical-themed fantasy settings. As much as I love the Medieval period, I feel like other eras are really underrated when it comes to fantasy potential.

I mean, the fact that he's folding his ears down in embarrassment only increases the cuteness factor.

Love the shading and lighting here, I might stare at this a bit more to see how this technique works and if I'd like to try it out.
