So polished, yet so sketchy (in a good, artistic way), and I love the aesthetic sense you used here.

Wow! Your art has improved a lot since you first drew her! I think Lia looks a little stretched, but otherwise, great job with the anatomy/proportions stuff, and I love the background too!

Love this fanart with the bright colors and how well you integrated the flags into their outfits! The group pose is great too, I can sense the friendship and support!

Your line work is a lot smoother, and the shading looks great! I feel like you could experiment some with the pop-up windows to make them look more like what you’d see in a computer interface - the classic Windows ones are a good reference. Maybe even add some glitch effects on the character, via your art program or something online. That’d make it even cooler!

I love it when people mix techniques! My only critique is that the eyeshadow looks a tiny bit pixelated and it kinda throws me off, but I assume you were working with what you had.

It looks less like the CalArts stereotype and more like Cuphead art style or even the original classic cartoon styles. (I think I’m seeing a theme as to where some of the influences of CalArts come from.) And it’s honestly a really good emulation of those rubberhose animated characters. Nice work!

Honestly, this isn’t CalArts’d to the point of being incoherent with the show, let alone disrespecting it! I love your sketchy line work and the fact that you kept the character proportions more appropriate for him even with a different style.
