All the disconnected geometric shapes kinda give it a Super Paper Mario vibe. I like that.

Thanks! It's very video-gamey for sure.
I'm very certain SPM took inspiration from it too: the idea was to try and capture the vibe of those segmented sprites from the days of the SEGA Mega Drive. How things like tentacles and snakes were often portrayed like this! Giving this thing a retro look.

Pretty good headshot! I feel like a full body would maybe get more traction, considering with D&D PCs and those types, their clothing really tells the story of who they are. Building off of this sounds like a fun exercise.

I think it’s the uncanny smile that makes people uneasy. The texture on the mask must’ve taken a lot of work, nice job!
