The dialogue sometimes comes across as written a bit stiffly, but the delivery and voices are fun, and I love the way the premise gets played with in ridiculous ways.

If you're still trying to find free music and sounds for the background, try Pixabay's audio section, Incompetech, FreePD, and the legacy tracks from MachinimaSound.

Plasmarift responds:

Thanks for the review! It's hard to believe it's been so long since I made this one.

I've since gotten better at finding music and sounds (I've been using Freesound). I'd heard of Incompetech though the others are new to me. I'll keep them in mind for the future! Thank you for telling me about them!

Oh Lord, the lyrics! The unenthused delivery with an accent, combined with harmonizing. Sounds like a great parody song to me! The piano playing is on point too!

ZaazNG responds:

Thank you so much! This was a blast to work on, and Tim's lyrics are brilliant lol
Glad that you enjoyed it! :D

Hello! I happened to find you via the Creepypasta collab thread. I might need some voice actors soon for a project, so I made a list of the voice actors who added to the thread to start off.

This is really clean audio and great delivery, with a wide range of tones of voice/inflections to convey different characterizations!

Plasmarift responds:

Thank you very much! I was actually embarrassed to find out I submitted this audition after the collaboration had closed (in my defense, the announcement that it was closed was in a reply to the original post). Still, I'm glad you liked it!

I'm honored that you are considering me for a project. I'd be interested in hearing about it. Even if I'm ultimately not chosen for it, I wish you luck with it!

I haven't even gotten to the point where I could get a taste of this music in the game, but all I can say is yes! I love the combination of the galloping rhythm, the synths used, and the general melodic structure. Plus the analog and electronic drums used together - you did that so well! It all fits really well together. This is good stuff.

ComposerEvans responds:

Thanks man! Harmonising riffs with parallel major 3rds just sounds really phat! Especially on synths!

Nice vocal track! I like the effect you had with the higher voice harmonizing with you. The background music also sounds cool. Your vocal style here fits with the topic of the song.

What I'd recommend doing with this is developing the backing track a little more so it reflects the emotions of the song and changes over time - maybe it could even be a little creepier? I feel like your voice also gets overpowered by the backing track for most of the song; I'd say either bump up the volume of the vocal track or take the volume of the back track down a notch. Also try practicing singing with a tuner a little bit - you're almost there, actually! From my experience, singing with electronic instruments can be quite unforgiving because of the very pitched nature of a lot of computer samples.

Can you put the lyrics in the description, by the way? I'd comment on them, but I can't quite tell what they are.

LapisTheWolf responds:

THANK YOU AND SURE I'LL ADD THE LYRICS!
ALSO I HEAVILY APPRECIATE ALL THE REVIEWS YOU DO ON MY STUFF!!

This also sounds like something you'd get in a video game. Works pretty well, actually! I hope that someone actually uses your music in a game some time, that'd be cool.

SuperKoolRaven responds:

Unlikely that someone would use it in their game anytime soon, or at all

Actually sounds like a cool little title screen or menu thing. I actually don't find it too repetitive, although some might. I agree with your decision to make this usable for games and animations.

SuperKoolRaven responds:

Yee :3

Hah, nice. This could definitely be put in a horror game with the red and blue faced men. I'd like to see where this concept goes from there.

Edit: It says "don't worry child, I am here to protect you from the man with the red face...". Fits with the plot. Also yeah, Morse code audio files can be decoded by computer as well!

SuperKoolRaven responds:

I forgot what the morse code said for the most part (yes, morse code can be put into audio form, if you didn't know) soooo
idk

This is actually a really cool-sounding title screen theme song! The different parts you add together sound really interesting, and it fits together as a coherent whole. Really nice.

SuperKoolRaven responds:

Thanks :D

It sounds like a very strange boss/level theme, for a very strange boss/level, and I love it.

SuperKoolRaven responds:

Lol
Thanks :D
