[Mary with new dress]

I feel like the dark background could have more detail to make it visually distinct from the dark dress, and maybe work on drawing different proportions of breasts, but otherwise, really nice work!

Thanks! The style choice was mostly a way to save myself some time caus I wanted to get back to Art Fight, but I do like the contrast element; gives it a retro sort of vibe.

Unfortunately even just since posting this, I'm already kinda falling out of love with the idea. Isometric, it turns out, isn't quite as simple as just drawing your tiles at a funny angle, and when it comes to something already as hefty as a full action RPG... you kinda have to pick and choose what extra work you will and won't make for yourself.

You somehow made tempura batter into a horrifying, shambling, faceless monster with a gruesome backstory. It’s awful, which means, in this horror context, that it’s great.

[Heilong The Drankey]

Love this design a lot, he looks like video game protagonist material! Maybe in a world with other hybrids of Chinese zodiac animals, I’d love to see more of those. You put the dragon and monkey together so well!

Thanks! I was just thinking about how I actually really like how this one turned out. Sometimes it's really rewarding to just sketch out random ideas on the spot.
