I love both the bare bones of this and all the little touches that really make it work!
I love both the bare bones of this and all the little touches that really make it work!
That's very nice of you, thanks!
I would give this fish child a SpongeBob Popsicle any day, even if I didn’t work in the ice cream truck and it was just one I’d bought. Love the colors and environment!
I'm sure Soda would greatly appreciate it ahah.
(and thanks!)
I think the corpse head needs some practice, and the “de Santos” text could be made thicker. I’m not sure what the eyes are for either. Otherwise, it looks really cool!
thanks! the eyes are because i wanted to put a little something that would represent a little more what you got on the cartoon, since the logo was looking more like a band logo than a cartoon logo
Some of the anatomy and the hair looks a little weird, even for anime style, but I get it, given the context. Color and shading look really good, though.
Edit: After you said "anime is my kryptonite", why was my first thought "Kryptonite-chan"?
tbh even if you rated this 3 stars; I wouldn't judge at all. Anime is my kryptonite and idc much for it
It looks more "sketchy" or "paint-y" if you will, because of how the shading seems to move more from frame to frame, but that honestly could work well as part of the art style of a game or something! Little bit of jerkiness in the animation in a couple of spots, but I understand that that may have been technical difficulties.
It uses a thing called Pillow shading, which is highly frowned upon in pixel-art as it looks crummy. I learned my lesson ^^' was quite the fun experiment/entrance to pixel art though
Love the design, it's simple yet distinctive - especially the colors and shape language! And that third one was made on one layer? That's some serious skill!
Old friend dared me to do it in one layer; was quite the experience
Love all the cartoony goodness! Judging from what I’ve seen of him, you’re definitely capturing his personality well!
I keep seeing stuff about Lupin the Third, I need to watch it.
Thank you! There's various takes on the character, I like the goofy side of him.
He's like a bad version of James Bond, always driven by his impulses, but really likeable.
Part 2 and 4 are good starts. Cagliostro and Mamo are pretty cool films
The hair and the form-fitting part of the dress look great! The part where it hits the floor could use some more practice, but otherwise, it’s really good!
Thank you!!
(Tbh, I feel like this art could have been better if I didn't add that weird floor thing lol.)
Great sense of personality with each one of these! Love the smoke details with the rogue too - I kinda want to study it as a reference, since I'm not the best at that type of elemental stuff!
what a sweet thing to say! i encourage you to also use real life as your first teacher cos my fool ass has definitely made mistakes and shortcuts over the years lol
