I love the little baby birbs hangin’ around the bigger birb. The colors are really pleasing, too. The line art is really smooth. Great work!

That is adorable! I don’t know exactly how, but you made it adorable without it even having a face! This design is amazing and looks really professional, like it could come from an MMORPG or something! The shading as well, especially on the gems, is really well done! Great job!

[Octobit Day8: Drink]

Really nice piece! As FuzzyAnimalGames pointed out, you really made good use of the space above the character (called “headroom” in film analysis). It makes him seem small and vulnerable, which is what is often implied when you have a lot of headroom in a shot from a movie! The shading is well done as well. I’d say the character doesn’t stand out from the background enough, but actually it really works given the vibe you’re trying to pull off. Great work! (And are those scars on his wrists, or is that just shading for arm hair? I feel concerned for this guy.)

[Octobit Day 1 - Your Archenemy]

I love this little animation, with the programmer joke and everything. I know how you feel. I myself gave up on making video games a little bit after I joined NG because I realized that while I can actually code (in block-based languages, that is), I just don't have the motivation to do so. I'd originally joined because I wanted to make video games, but the community I found here is still really great.

I love this art. It's adorable. I want to give your little chibi self a box of tissues and a pat on the back. Great job!

How does he even maintain all that hair? Doesn’t it get in the way when he tries to... do anything?

Also, the hair is very well drawn. Tiny nitpick I have is that it took me a sec to realize his eye was open. I can totally see it now but I guess the way you drew it confused me tor a sec. Otherwise great work!

Background is a little plain, but otherwise, this is great! I like the hair shading especially.

Nice ref for Yuuta! Definitely conveys his character really well. Also "look at him bein human and stuff" when he literally has those eyes in his mouth in one shot.

Personally, I like the pastel version better - I'm a sucker for pastels as well as glowing things - but this one looks good too. It looks like the cover art for a sci-fi book!
