[focus blast]

I really love how well the effects of the blast are made. I also surprised myself by liking the kind of minimalist art style. I kind of wish that there was a cleaner transition from the end of the animation to the beginning when it looped, but that's alright.

Ohhhhhh that's so cool! OHHHHH THAT'S SO COOL! Okay, now that I've figured out my thoughts on this, I'm expanding my review. This is probably one of the most beautiful pieces of vent art that I've ever seen. Only question is: If this character is truly going to be recurring (as in you'll draw her multiple times), the design seems a bit too complicated to do that easily. Other than that, great work!

I really love the way this is done! It reminds me of something, but I don't know what. I'll have to think on that. Either something sci-fi dystopia or outfits worn by an 80s band. I'd love to see more art in this style.

I really love what you did with this. The design is well thought-out and continues the style of the mask. The lighting and shading are very, very well-done. With the background, the general doll-ish-ness of the character, and the creepiness of Phanto in general, it's really creepy and I wouldn't have it any other way. P.S. What were some of the art tricks you learned? I'm curious.

Thanks, I put a good amount of time working out her design, looked at Mario 2 as a whole to draw inspiration. As for art tricks, this is the first piece I've ever used Gradient Maps on. As well as working in separate layers while working out the shading before a merging, it makes for much cleaner lighting in general. As well as properly practicing my grayscale checks after and during the application of color. Also rim lights... lots of rim lighting. It was a nice learning experience
