[Octobit Day10: Tentacles]

This’d fit in really well as part of a retro horror game. I especially love the high contrast shading and how there’s a subtle gradient in the reds - it really gives it some nice flair.

Nice work! It’s interesting to see the stylistic differences between this drawing and the original artist’s. I like how you added some petal effects in the hair. I’m not sure 100% what to think about the bluer color palette you chose - it definitely lends a different feel, that’s for sure, but I kinda like the more vibrant colors better for this character. I don’t know, though. Regardless, everything else about the work is amazing! Great job!

[Witch Familiars - (6/16) - Darkness Witch’s Bat Widow]

I don’t quite 100% understand how the design connects with the name - can you explain? Great execution nonetheless!

Oh, it's simply because the bat look like the cliche rich widow look, with their big fluffy jackets and boas. ;)

[Witch Familiars - (2/16) - Water Witch’s Tear Puddle]

Man, you’ve got me thinking about what kind of witches would have these familiars. We have a fire witch who doesn’t have the best control of her powers (based on my comment on the dog), and a sad water witch.

I love the water effects and the reflection of the paper boat! It’s really dynamic, I can almost see it moving! Not only that, but this is a really creative design, as are the rest of your familiars! I like the way you thought outside the box for a lot of these :)

Hope you don’t mind all these comments. I just saw the gem golem and knew I had to look through all your witch familiar designs.

[Witch Familiars - (3/16) - Fire Witch’s Pyro Dalmatian]

Aww! So if he’s like a firefighter dog, does that mean he’ll put out the fire magic if something accidentally gets lit on fire that the witch didn’t mean to set on fire? If so: Good boy, very good boy.

This looks like it could come out of a cartoon on TV. Very clean and solid design. I like the way you did the fire, too.
