Their faces kinda give me animated movie vibes - especially the more distorted-looking faces, they make me think of various characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I like it! Good to see you're still having fun with the project even after you've finished it!

nashotobi responds:

this is actually still an unrelated part of the book. I'm currently fully focused on my other book but I will get back to this project eventually.

Oh sweet Jesus. This makes me imagine a Japanese-style RPG Maker horror game with pixel art done by you. That'd be actually pretty cool, even though I doubt I'd ever get the guts to play such a thing. Well-done as always.

Of course that's his lab coat! He would never settle for something normal, that would be beneath him.

Honestly this just looks so good. I love the design, the shiny/sparkly textures, the way you drew his head, the animations and everything. Also, I love it that you're making NSR stuff even after the main popularity surge (if you could call it that) has died down. Congrats on another front page, too!

ZeTrystan responds:

He's a character I can't help but drawing haha, so happy you like it!

Your tutorials are honestly making me want to try my hand at pixel art again. Thank you!

Holy crap, that looks so good! It looks kind of like something on old video footage, which is really amazing for a pixel artwork. How much time did this take to make?

BoJustBo responds:

Well it has a light CRT filter applied for that reason. It's actually a Gameboy style 4-color picture ;)
I don't know how long it took, maybe ten-fifteen hours or something, most of that time spent making the text, pixeling text is kind of hell =P

Yay! Congratulations!

Dude, you ain't incompetent, or lazy, or a fool. Don't be deceived by anyone who seems to be good at absolutely everything. They're most likely just competent at a lot of things but nowhere near professional level for at least most of them, and because of the time and energy they're sacrificing for each of the other things they try to do at the same time, they won't reach the same level as those who are dedicating most of their time to the one thing that matters most to them.

Well-drawn comic as always, by the way. I like the use of the increasingly low quality for comedic and metaphoric effect. You really do think creatively and outside the box when making these, and that's honestly awesome.

Wow. Looks absolutely beautiful and very dynamic - I can almost see it moving and hear background music! Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but the composition, the way it's put together, the camera angles, etc, all are excellent! I find this work artistically inspiring, actually... one of these days I'll have to try making fake-screenshot style work like you do.

I love that, honestly. Pretty well done, I can't say much on the details since I don't know the game that well, but the parody is funny.

I love the designs of these two and how the personalities are conveyed through their designs, poses, etc. And the ears (as well as everything else) turned out well!

Edit: Wait. What if that became a costume option or an Easter egg you could activate? I don’t mean to put more work on you, but if you do have the ability to do that, that’d be fun.

Ioruko responds:

Thank you! Was a fun experiment, in the game they won't have ears :D
