The painting looks really good! Your understanding of the human ear and blood physics really makes it work, and the colors are great for the subject matter. Really makes a bold statement.

Keep up with the good work - with four pieces as good as this one, you’ll be able to be scouted by someone and your work will show up on the art portal. With that added publicity, you might be able to start making money off your art, and save up to move away from your parents one day. That’s just one potential way of getting out of that situation, I’m not sure what the details of your life are, but if your parents aren’t treating you right, by all means start making a solid plan to get away. I wish you the best of luck, and know that you are not alone. If you need a support group, there’s many places around the internet where you can find others who are dealing with much the same thing, as well as other people who want to help in general.

Hey, not bad! Your line and coloring work look pretty steady. I just have a few recommendations for ways to improve your art going forward.

I’d recommend you pay careful attention to the angle you take the picture of your artwork from. Try to keep your phone directly above the page and as parallel to it as you can. That way, perspective won’t get skewed and you hopefully won’t get slightly different angles for different frames in a gif like this one. I’d also recommend looking at reference images for this kind of pose, to get a better understanding of what the arms and other parts should look like. Same for the gun. You also technically drew his hand in the wrong direction, but as far as I know that could be part of the design.

Regardless of all that, the idea to make a gif using traditional art on paper shows you’ve got some creativity - don’t lose it, and keep up with what you’re doing! You’re going to make some cool stuff in the future!

Really well done first submission here! The lighting and shading looks pretty sound, and you’ve done a good job with the Madness art style. Only recommendation I’d make is to experiment a little with the text there - currently I feel like it doesn’t fit too well with the rest of the image, I think it’s the font, but I’m not sure what the best course of action would be. That’s just a tiny nitpick, though.

Keep up the good work either way - if you have 4 artworks that are as good as this one, you’re sure to be scouted.

[Bromance - Goblin War]

So the Bromance is an actual webcomic? That’s cool! I also like the upside down Deathly Hallows shirt. Also, dear lord, did the other guy get speared right through the chest? He’s bleeding in several places, he needs to go get medical help. Why’s he casually standing there?

Either way, I love the designs and composition of it. Maybe it’s a bit busy, or at least needs a little more visual separation between the foreground, background, and other layers, but it still looks like a lot of fun, and I enjoy the little details and whatnot. (I’m not sure if it should be rated differently because of the blood? I don’t know the nuances of the differences between “some” and “lots” in Newgrounds ratings.)

Very cute! I love your take on Ena and the other characters! I also appreciate the fact that it’s called “Subconscious High School”, that’s fun. The whole premise kinda works considering the original Ena also wears an outfit similar to a school uniform, albeit of a different sort.

Jokes aside, I love the design. Self-indulgence is fun! Nothing wrong with it so long as it’s safe and in the right time and place. Which this is! The colors are really pretty and the outfit and overall design feel original, fanservicey though they may be.

So I just learned about the Wide Ryu meme today, and this is great. I like the juxtaposition of the tiny head/face with the huge body. The animation furthers the humor. Love it.

Being used to Newgrounds/the internet, I thought there was going to be a dark punch line with the razor. But this is so much better. It just looks so nostalgic with the style of the drawings, colors, paper effects, game ad, and everything. Warms my heart. I love it.
