I can’t see the ptosis very well in the drawing, but I love the design a lot! It’s interesting that you’re giving all the clowns some kind of disability/condition/physical imperfection if you will? I personally like the concept. Might get annoying if you brought too much attention to it in the writing, but it looks good so far.

Honestly far from my best pixel art, but I like to think the premise more than makes up for it.

I do think it’s a little bit of a toss up between this one and the original - both kinda look like just two different art styles of the same thing. Really cool nonetheless!

Style is important though, especially when a character's part of a larger project, and I feel this new design is much more fitting for the sort of "mascoty," Sonic-inspired, often-abstract game it belongs to.

Another consideration when designing a character for a game is how easily others can redraw and reinterpret it. Fan content, though often memed on, is the most important facet to any indie game's visibility.

I love the designs and composition reminiscent of old monster movie posters! Even the vampire lady has that kind of an Elvira influence. Very cool!
