Absolutely love this design! Simple but distinctive, and kind of has an old cartoon feel.

Definitely improved. I like the new design better as well, but the second also just looks more artistically mature, if that makes any sense. The shading and the shapes have improved in a lot of places, it’s easy to tell you’ve grown.

[A free-use alien font]

The designs of these are pretty cool! I could easily see the curved shapes still being recognizable when drawn as geometric shapes (with the stone carving tools). I just think the letters align with the Latin alphabet a little too much to be properly alien at times, but that can just be fixed by swapping some of them.

Have you considered turning this into a usable font file?

I did consider making it TTF, and then promptly forgot, lol. For this one, having them align with Latin was part of the plan, to leave it half-way guessable. I've also got an earlier set of ideas that's far more "alien", with less restrictions on shapes. I'll see if I can get around to doing them both up as actual fonts this week. Thanks for the nudge ;)
