I like the interpretation, it’s almost a straight up horror monster. Really works with the whole “anomalous shadow creature not from this plane of existence” part of endermen.

Edit: Oh god, I just now saw the realistic anatomy in its mouth. That’s genuinely terrifying.

Yeah, I'm trying out new shading techniques, this one is a bit more textured and so far everyone I've asked has liked it. I'm keen to hear what people think.

I get so nostalgic for character-ask blogs sometimes, I thought it might be a fun way to interact with people again like I used to years ago ^^

Oh yeah, Mist is definitely a demon.

Jokes aside, I love the lighting and the textures such as the trees and fog.

[Demoncember 3 - Gate]

Sounds like a concept from a Doom-esque shooter. Upon trying to pass to the next level, the gate itself starts shooting at you, and you must destroy it to progress.
