The skull face paint reminds me of the band Ghost and I love that that’s happening.

I don’t know if it’s for the same reason as you, but I feel that image right now. It’s very simply expressed, but it’s effective.

One tidbit: I’d recommend you focus the thumbnail on your art, not the reference pic. That keeps it from being misleading.

Some of the shading is missing, and I feel like a background with some kind of gradient might make him pop out better. But otherwise, you’re really going onward and upward!

This feels very classic Newgrounds, in both art style and sense of humor. Makes me really want to see if I can get this on the front page.
