I finally decided to check this out for real, and it's pretty intriguing. This trailer is mostly well done, so this review is mainly about what it shows the game is like. However, I'm wondering if the trailer maybe took too long to demonstrate the game's uniqueness beyond introducing it as a zombie game (see below). Some people might click away before that happens if they don't think they're seeing anything new. Furthermore, the trailer doesn't seem to show how the game is horror rather than just "gun action", as you put it. Even the choice of music implies badassery rather than terror to me. Now, on to the game. I actually quite like that you're up for the challenge of making a horror game without realistic graphics or first person view. Furthermore, it originally looked like it was going to be just another zombie game, but it looks like there's actually more depth to the plot, given how I saw shots of some of the prisoners alive... and a guy on a cross engulfed in flames (supernatural at work?) and some neo-Nazi dude?! About him, if he has any spoken lines that have to do with his bigotry, please be sure that you can pull it off well, because otherwise it becomes that game-ruining "gotta have Nazis" cliche. Also, I didn't manage to catch it in the other shots, but in the shot of him raising the axe, both swastikas depicted are backwards. One more nitpicky detail, but I'm thinking maybe you could change the protagonist's last name to something more realistic, just in case that little bit of cheesiness/badassery undermines the horror atmosphere. Overall, this has some good potential, and I look forward to not playing it because I'm a wuss. ;)

Thanks my man!!

That's some decent stop motion, and I kind of like the idea of a stop motion war movie. I honestly couldn't really get invested into the plot, though - neither from watching the animation (which didn't give me much of a reason to care about what was going on) nor from reading the description (which killed the intrigue of what the mission was about and also gave me tropey vibes). I'm a big fan of the game Wolfenstein 3D, and I don't know what makes me like that game and not this stop-motion, but perhaps you should find an emulator with which to play the game so you can get some ideas of how they manage to nail a plot that's four times tropier than yours. This does have potential.

Twin-Tales responds:

We are currently writing episode 2 and I feel it's already stronger than episode 1. And our hopes/goal is that the series will improve after every episode. I also feel the journey the characters are on is more important than the actual goal.

I know of Wolfenstein 3D but don't really know what is about, but will check it out.
