This’d fit in really well as part of a retro horror game. I especially love the high contrast shading and how there’s a subtle gradient in the reds - it really gives it some nice flair.

Thank you! Horror is not something I usually do, but I sure enjoyed this one.
I don’t quite 100% understand how the design connects with the name - can you explain? Great execution nonetheless!
Oh, it's simply because the bat look like the cliche rich widow look, with their big fluffy jackets and boas. ;)
Okay, the aesthetic here is really cool. How’d you do that? Also, the heart thing gives it Medic vibes...
hes a broken man pensive also ty lol
Oh my God, Stanley, you can’t just ask people why they have trauma!
This one’s a bit basic and I don’t know the context but it’s still good lol
he thinks his pal should stop having trauma since he doesnt like having it
Looks like something out of a Japanese-inspired cartoon! I want to sit and listen to his wisdom. Well done!
You should try Spiritfarer then! ;)
Man, you’ve got me thinking about what kind of witches would have these familiars. We have a fire witch who doesn’t have the best control of her powers (based on my comment on the dog), and a sad water witch.
I love the water effects and the reflection of the paper boat! It’s really dynamic, I can almost see it moving! Not only that, but this is a really creative design, as are the rest of your familiars! I like the way you thought outside the box for a lot of these :)
Hope you don’t mind all these comments. I just saw the gem golem and knew I had to look through all your witch familiar designs.
Actually, I did draw those witches before! If you check the two last years in my gallery, you'll find them there! ;)
And thank you, trying to find uncommon designs it's my goal! :D
Aww! So if he’s like a firefighter dog, does that mean he’ll put out the fire magic if something accidentally gets lit on fire that the witch didn’t mean to set on fire? If so: Good boy, very good boy.
This looks like it could come out of a cartoon on TV. Very clean and solid design. I like the way you did the fire, too.
Sadly, I'm pretty sure this dog does the... opposite. :')
Dawwwwww :3
I love the little baby birbs hangin’ around the bigger birb. The colors are really pleasing, too. The line art is really smooth. Great work!
Thanks! Nothing better than a fat bird and lil birds around to appease everyone haha.
That is adorable! I don’t know exactly how, but you made it adorable without it even having a face! This design is amazing and looks really professional, like it could come from an MMORPG or something! The shading as well, especially on the gems, is really well done! Great job!
Hahaha, well thanks, it's a very nice thing to say!
Making things adorable is my only purpose, happy I managed to do it! :)
Really nice piece! As FuzzyAnimalGames pointed out, you really made good use of the space above the character (called “headroom” in film analysis). It makes him seem small and vulnerable, which is what is often implied when you have a lot of headroom in a shot from a movie! The shading is well done as well. I’d say the character doesn’t stand out from the background enough, but actually it really works given the vibe you’re trying to pull off. Great work! (And are those scars on his wrists, or is that just shading for arm hair? I feel concerned for this guy.)
Thank you! I didn't know it was called that, good to know.
Pronounced Theta-geist.
I dabble in everything, trying to make games. ¡Hablo español también!
I sometimes make A-rated horror. Don't lie about your age!
