The only reason why I'm not joining the Gijinka collab is I find the whole "please don't block people or you're not getting in the collab" rule EXTREMELY unfair. Yes, I know that people often abuse it to block reviews from people they don't like, but it's not respecting MY choices to do so that aren't "wah wah wah, they gave me 0 stars". If I wanna use the block feature to disassociate with people, people should AT LEAST understand where I'm coming from. I don't wanna get harassed from people who I've blocked, is that REALLY bad of a reason that my work is stripped off of the collab?
Though I am excited to see what the Pokemon Mystery Meat will bring.
Very much agree with you. I lucked out that the one guy I had to unblock hasn’t kept harassing me like before. Part of me thinks I should’ve stuck to my principles, but trying to get Kittyhawk to change this rule would just be punching above my weight.
She never gave a satisfactory explanation why “the spirit of collaboration” (especially for a massive one like this where the goal is to get as many people involved as possible) requires forcing interaction between people who literally might not be safe around each other.
